About the Retreat

During this retreat, you will legally experience 2 psilocybin mushroom journeys in the comfort of a lovely beach front property, while being supported by psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy trained therapists who have extensive experience working with people in Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness. Additionally, there will be yoga, sound healing and breathwork offered and a 1/2 day off the retreat site to explore the island.

Meet Your Facilitators

Kate Becker, LCSW RYT-300

Kate Becker (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in EMDR Therapy, and a 300 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. Kate has facilitated psilocybin journeys in Jamaica for 6 years. Kate's private practice focus is in the treatment of anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, addiction and trauma. Kate was trained by MAPS in MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy in 2018 and is trained and experienced in ketamine assisted psychotherapy.

Karen Alter-Reid, Ph.D

Karen is a clinical psychologist for 35 years, an EMDRIA Specialty Presenter on Healing and Interrupting Trans-generational Wounds with EMDR Therapy, and has specialties in the treatment of trans-generational trauma, first responders, and lifecycle transitions. She has presented her work nationally and internationally and has authored articles and chapters on the use of EMDR Therapy with specialty populations. She has studied Psychedelic Medicines since 2022.

Joanna Crowell, LADC, LPC

Joanna is a licensed professional counselor, licensed alcohol and drug counselor and certified psychedelic assisted psychotherapist provider through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Joanna is an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant who specializes in treating anxiety, PTSD, addictions and trauma.

Ava Hart, LCSW, IMH-E

Ava is an EMDRIA Certified clinician serving her community in Middletown, CT. She specializes in trauma therapy, infant mental health and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She developed a clinical workshop, "Trauma Bonded Sistas", an affinity group for black women addressing intergenerational and race-based trauma.

  • Application form

  • Screening interview with a facilitator

  • Completion of all required paperwork

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Full refund minus $500 if cancelled before March 27th, 2026

  • No refunds after that date
